| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | In Brazil, institutional repositories have been adopted by universities with the purpose of disseminating their intellectual production. However, very little is discussed about the organization of these repositories, as it directly affects the classification and location of the documents. The objective of the study is to analyze the various forms used in the organization of university repositories maintained by the government. A study to support the discussion on a relatively unexplored subject, but that affects the usability and accessibility of the archives. Results show that most repositories represent the hierarchical structure of the university in the repository, with little use of thematic organizations. This reveals the need for studies to support the organization of academic systems on such systems. |
| Abstract: | No Brasil, repositórios institucionais têm sido adotados por universidades com o objetivo de divulgar sua produção intelectual. Porém, muito pouco se discute sobre a organização desses repositórios, pois isso afeta diretamente a classificação e localização dos documentos. O objetivo do estudo é analisar as diversas formas utilizadas na organização dos repositórios universitários mantidos pelo governo. Um estudo para apoiar a discussão sobre um assunto relativamente inexplorado, mas que afeta a usabilidade e acessibilidade dos arquivos. Os resultados mostram que a maioria dos repositórios representa a estrutura hierárquica da universidade no repositório, com pouco uso de organizações temáticas. Isso revela a necessidade de estudos para apoiar a organização dos sistemas acadêmicos nesses sistemas. |
